The Studio

Here at Soundwave Recording Studio we pride ourselves in ensuring we have the best audio equipment and software the industry has to offer. We have a selection of outboard analogue equipment ranging from vintage preamps and compressors to classic reverb and FX units, all bundled with our acclaimed 64 channel Otari status 18R mixing console.

The studio consists of our Control Room, Live Room and Isolated Vocal Booth which have all been acoustically treated to a professional standard. The building offers a kitchen area with basic facilities, a bathroom and an office.

We have an impressive selection of digital plugins, VST’s and Library instruments at our disposal. We use many of Universal Audio‘s renowned plugins that have been modelled to a selection of vintage hardware; such as compressors like the SSL 400 G bus or the Teletronix 1176 Limiters, reverbs such as the Lexicon 224 and channel strips like Neve and SSL. We host a massive range of Native Instruments VSTs and sound Libraries, including things like Alicia’s Keys, Symphonic Orchestral Selection, Abbey Road Drum Selections, Session Horns Pro and many more. We are also big fans of Spitfire Audio’s orchestral library instruments and Output Sounds incredible instruments for creating music productions for everything from film and TV to modern electronic music.

With the tools mentioned above we have everything we need to attack a range of different projects depending on the needs of the client. Our production skills range from modern electronics to suspenseful cinematic orchestral works, advertisement jingles to audio logos. We are also able to record and capture artist performances with stunning detail and sonic value in our comfortable and friendly environment. Whether it’s a full band or a solo artist our mixing engineers can bring life to the simplest of recordings.
