Terms and Conditions
- If client are exhibiting any signs associated with Covid-19, they should not attend the session and contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07944933932
- It is up to the client wether they want to wear a face mask during the session, if you would like our staff to also wear one please let them know before entering the studio.
- Only Staff can use the kitchen area (no drinks or food preparation is to be don’t by any clients – staff can make drinks for clients if needed).
- Hand sanitiser is located at the entrance to the studio and also in the control room with clear signs reminding your to sanitise.
- Staff will wipe down any surfaces and touch points with anti bacterial after every session.
- All staff will be briefed thoroughly on hygiene and cleanliness and the increased need to uphold this throughout the studio and communal areas. Engineers and assistants to commit to washing their hands at regular intervals, particularly when entering, or re-entering buildings.
- Anti-bacterial wipes are in studio for wiping down door handles/touch points/lights switches before you and at regular intervals.
- All staff members adhere to the government guidelines of isolating themselves for 10 days if they are experiencing a fever, cough or any other symptoms of covid-19. Any artist displaying symptoms should not visit the studio.
A deposit may be required to book a session over 2 hours long. Deposits may vary in size. Deposits will be taken off the final payment fee.
Any damage caused either deliberately or accidentally to the Studio or any equipment will result in the responsible person being liable to cover the costs of repair or replacement in full. In the event of damage being caused by somebody under the age of 18, the adult assuming responsibility for them during the session shall be charged in full without negotiation.
By confirming a session, the client agrees to be invoiced for any such damages and agrees to settle the costs within 30 days.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Soundwave Recording Studio assumes no responsibility for any loss of information including individuals’ work and/or recordings of sessions. Soundwave Recording Studio endeavour to keep a full profile of all sessions for a period of 24 months. If clients wish to obtain a copy of their session, please contact a member of the Soundwave team at least 1 month prior to the end of this period. Charges may apply and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Soundwave Recording Studio holds rights to use any material from clients sessions, including photos and video, for promotional use unless specified by contract by the client or manager booking the session. Images or video of any person under 16 will not be used with out the correct consent forms being filled out by the guardian or parent.
By purchasing a Voucher on www.soundwaverecordingstudio.co.uk You enter into an agreement with Us. It is the responsibility of the Voucher holder to ensure that the experience/party is booked within the expiry date of the Voucher. Once You have booked Your experience, You are bound by the terms and conditions of Us.
No guarantee can be made as to availability of the studio on any particular day. We advise that the Voucher holder books as soon as possible before the preferred date. Should an experience become unavailable or a particular location become unavailable We will endeavour to inform You of this as soon as possible and offer an exchange or a refund to the purchaser of the Voucher. This will be the limit of Our liability and We will not be liable for any other costs incurred by the Voucher holder such as travel or accommodation.
Please note that the prices and offers advertised on the Website may be changed from time to time. In the event of an experience being issued or processed at an incorrect price, We will advise the Voucher holder and offer either a full refund or for them to pay/receive the balance in price to their account.
Vouchers and Promotions
We reserve the right to limit the use of discount codes to certain experiences, price ranges and times. Most discounts and promotion codes have limitations; We are not always able to display the full terms of such discounts on smaller advertisements. Most discount codes apply to the whole checkout basket total on items up to £250 in value. You will be advised in the basket page if Your discount code may be applied to Your purchase. Please contact Us if You have any questions in relation to discount codes. When a discount code has been used for the original purchase, the value of the credit will be based on the amount paid, not on the pre-discount value of the Voucher. Please note that all promotional codes are for new online orders only and cannot be used in conjunction with an exchange or existing Voucher.
Most experiences have restrictions which may include age. Please check all the information provided to ensure that the activity is suitable for the recipient. If You or the participant have any questions please check with Us before booking Your experience.
Experience and Descriptions
Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate details of the experiences available, the duration of such experiences given on the website should be used as guidelines only. We endeavour to give accurate and detailed information about every experience, however, there may be changes in the exact arrangements on the day or during the lifetime of the Voucher. These descriptions should therefore be taken as a guide only and do not form part of the contract. In the event of an incomplete activity and no satisfactory alternative being supplied to the Voucher holder by Us, the maximum compensation available is limited to the net cost of the experience, to be decided by Us. Photographs used are illustrative and not necessarily of the actual equipment in use at any particular location. For further information, please contact Us for the relevant experience.
Vouchers are usually valid for 6 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated) and shall become invalid on the expiry date. The expiry date is set out on the Voucher.
There is also the possibility of short notice cancellation due to reasons such as mechanical problems, staffing issues or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the Our control. If the activity is cancelled, the user should simply re-book with US or a full refund will be given. Soundwave Recording Studio Ltd will not be liable for any costs such as travel or accommodation incurred by the participant in such circumstances. Once booked, if You cancel without giving the required notice under the terms and conditions of Us for that experience, Your experience may be forfeited. Please check Our cancellation terms and conditions carefully when booking.
Refunds and Cancelations
Refunds can be requested within 14 days of purchase unless the experience has already been booked with the Us. The request for a refund must be made within fourteen calendar days. Refunds after this period will be at Our sole discretion and will be subject to a £20 or 20% (whichever is greater) fee. Note that refunds can only be made to the purchaser. Refunds will not be made to a Voucher holder who is not the purchaser, or any third party. Should an experience become unavailable We reserve the right to provide an exchange or a full refund to the original purchaser, this will be the limit of Our liability and We will not be responsible for any costs incurred such as travel or accommodation. Sessions canceled within 14 calendar days of the booked time and date will not be rescheduled and no refund will be given. Rescheduling is possible within this period but will incur a rebooking fee of our choice.
Limit of our Liability
As clearly stated above, by booking Your experience You will be subject to our terms and conditions for the supply of that experience, including restrictions and cancellation.
Indemnity, waivers and cancelation insurance
Experiences may require the completion of an indemnity form before participation. Please read the Our terms and conditions very carefully in relation to this You may also be required to sign a Waiver of Liability with Us in relation to any risks of injury. You should read the Our terms and conditions and your personal insurance policy (if any) very carefully in relation.
By taking part in an experience You accept the existence of an element of personal risk. We arrange Our own liability insurance. Some experiences may require You to sign a disclaimer before taking part so please read this information carefully. Most experiences will rely on participants following instructions to comply with health and safety, please follow these carefully. We reserve the right to withdraw or end an experience if participants are deemed to be a danger to themselves or others. We arrange Our own liability insurance which will provide insurance for participants in the case of negligence on Our behalf.
We permit You to bring spectators to watch You participate in Your chosen experience. Whilst Soundwave Recording Studio Ltd endeavor to provide information regarding spectators You must inform Us when booking Your experience if You would like to bring spectators. Some experiences may incur or charge a small fee; some may not permit any spectators. All spectators are expected to adhere to the terms and conditions of the experience, including for example – alcohol consumption and behaviour. For more information, please contact Us.
CDs are sent by First Class Royal Mail (or Special Delivery where selected) We cannot be held liable for any cost or inconvenience caused due to delayed or lost mail.
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires Us to inform You that We hold information You provide on Our database. You acknowledge that You will be providing Us with Your personal information when making bookings for experiences and You permit Us to provide these to the Supplier with whom You book your activity/activities with. We use the information primarily for the provision of providing You with experiences from the relevant Supplier to You and for related purposes, including updating and keeping Our records up to date. Our use of that information is subject to Your instructions and the Data Protection Act 1998.
The easiest way of resolving a complaint is to address them on the day of the relevant experience. If Your complaint cannot be resolved on the day, please send details to us at email@example.com , including your Voucher number, date of the activity and who You spoke to on the day.
Applicable Terms of Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning any matter arising from these Terms.
